| Over 70% of the 89 Central Rectification Tasks of Environmental Protection Inspectors Will Be Completed This Year |

On March 7th, the reporter learned from thefeedback of the Leading Group Office of the Central Environmental Protection Inspector in Sichuan Province that the Sichuan Provincial Department of Ecological Environment recently issued the Key Points for Ecological Environment Work in Sichuan Province in 2019 in order to continuously improve the ecological environment quality. All localities and departments have been urged to crack down on the battle of pollution prevention and control, focus on solving outstanding ecological and environmental problems, and meet various indicators for national annual assessment.
Among them, over 70% of the 89 central rectification tasks of Environmental Protection Inspectors in Sichuan Province is to be completed this year, and more than 98% of the 8,924 problems discovered by the Sichuan Provincial Environmental Protection Inspectors will be rectified, over 97.5% of the 9070 environmental problems involved in the transfer of correspondence and visits by the Central Fifth Environmental Protection Inspectorate is to be rectified,and over 97% of the 1252 ecological and environmental problems discovered by the special inspectors of Sichuan's nature reserves should be concluded this year.
In terms of air quality, we will ensure that Sichuan’s urban air quality is rated as good for 83.3% of the days or a percentage higher than that, say 85%. In terms of water quality, we will ensure that the proportion of waterquality rated as excellent in the testedsurface water section reaches 80.5%, and strive to reach 90.8%. We will see to it that the proportion of V class section is less than 2.3%, as such we are able to eliminate the V class section in advance; In terms of soil environmental control, we will complete the integration of agricultural land inspection results, apply the results of agricultural land classification and others, complete the collection, distribution and sampling of land use information of key industries,and carry out analytical testing work.
