A few days ago, the China Green Food Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of PRC held the "First Expert Review Meeting on Agro-product Geographical Indication Registration in 2019" in Beijing. "Cangxi Soft-shell Turtle" recommended by Cangxi Fishery Administration Bureau and "Zijiang Chinese Perch" recommended by Yanting Zijiang Chinese Perch Aquaculture Association were approved.

　　Up to now, Sichuan Province has 10 registered aquatic products with agro-product geographical indications. The relevant official in charge from Sichuan Fishery Administration Bureau said that Sichuan would focus on its construction of the "10+3" industrial system for modern agriculture in the next step, tap the unique and advantageous aquatic resources in different regions, and speed up the cultivation of a number of distinctive, diversified and competitive local aquatic brands.
