On the afternoon of November 10th, Peng Qinghua, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, and Yin Li, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province, met with Li Jiheng, Minister of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and his entourage in Chengdu. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on further deepening the cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Sichuan Province, boosting Sichuan's social security level, improving the service system for the aged, promoting the innovation of urban and rural grassroots social governance, and strengthening the construction of civil affairs personnel team.
