On the afternoon of September 7, Peng Qinghua, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, and Yin Li, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, met with Li Xiaopeng, Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China and his entourage in Chengdu. The two sides exchanged views on further implementing and improving the strategic cooperation mechanism between the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and Sichuan Province, promoting the construction of Sichuan's civil aviation, highways, railways and shipping, improving the level of transportation infrastructure in ethnic minority areas and poverty-stricken areas, and accelerating the construction of a modern comprehensive transport system.
