On September 20th, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of People’s Government of Sichuan Province, met with the former Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama and his delegations in Chengdu.
Mr. Yin Li welcomed Mr. Yukio Hatoyama and his delegations to attend the 17th Western China International Fair in Sichuan, and thanked Mr. Yukio Hatoyama for his contributions to promoting the friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan over the years. He said that in recent years, exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Japan have been more and more frequent. He hoped that the two sides could work together to promote the exchanges between enterprises and people of the two sides and make even greater contributions to develop our economic and trade relations and to enhance the friendships between our peoples.
Mr. Yukio Hatoyama said that the rapid development of Sichuan in recent years is impressive. He looked forward to the closer cooperation in the future with Sichuan in pension, aviation and beauty industry, and foster Sino-Japanese friendship with the achievements of mutual-beneficial and win-win projects.
Mr. Tang Limin, Secretary-General of People’s Government of Sichuan Province, and other officials attended the meeting.
