From this year onwards, junior high schools and ordinary high schools in Sichuan shall incorporate knowledge of drug prevention education into the academic test of relevant disciplines; secondary vocational schools shall incorporate knowledge of drug prevention education into the teaching and assessment of moral education courses to ensure that the young students bear in mind and heart the drug prevention knowledge.

　　Sichuan requires all local education administrative departments and schools to carry out youth drug prevention education seriously, and do a good job in classroom teaching, and achieve "Five Implementations" of teaching plans, syllabus, class hours, teachers, and teaching materials. At the same time, we will actively use new media and new means to carry out publicity and education activities of "Yes to Life, No to Drugs" in various forms and contents, so as to enhance the ability regarding drug recognition, resistance and prevention of young students.

　　In addition, every year the local education administrative departments organize schools to hold an anti-drug themed exhibition, watch an anti-drug film, conduct a special anti-drug seminar, organize an anti-drug essay contest, and hold an anti-drug class meeting.

　　According to the deployment, the provincial (prefectural) education administrative department and the anti-drug department will take the lead in formulating the detailed assessment and evaluation rules for drug prevention education in local schools by the end of September this year. From this year onwards, all localities shall incorporate the assessment results into the annual assessment and evaluation of the school as well as into its qualifications for contention of awards and outstanding achievements. Education supervision departments at all levels shall incorporate school drug prevention education into education supervision in order to deliver continued good performances in supervision and inspection.

　　It is reported that the Education Department of Sichuan and the Sichuan Provincial Institute for Drug Control will conduct random checks on the work situation in various places, the result of which will be considered as an important part of the annual target assessment of the provincial (prefectural) education and drug control departments.
