On July 1, Sichuan Province signed a memorandum of friendly cooperative relations with Spain’s Castilla La Mancha Region in Chengdu. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and Sanchez, President of Castilla La Mancha, signed the contract on behalf of the two sides respectively.

　　According to the memorandum, the two sides will be committed to friendly exchanges and cooperation between government, enterprises and institutions to promote cooperation projects in the fields of trade, science and technology, agriculture, education, culture and tourism.

　　Before its signing, Yin Li met with Sanchez and his delegation. The two sides reached a consensus on finding cooperation opportunities and taping the potential of cooperation in a wide range of fields.

　　Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and Mr. Tang Limin, Secretary General of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government attended the signing ceremony and meeting.
