On May 29th, the commencement of 2018 major investment attraction projects of Sichuan Province and Chengdu WuXi AppTec Life Health Industrial Park started. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, attended the event and announced the commencement of the projects.

　　The commencement is a specific deployment of the province’s “Project Year” in 2018. The main venue was at the project site of Chengdu WuXi AppTec Life Health Industrial Park. In addition to Aba and Ganzi prefectures, the other 18 cities (prefectures) have sub-venues. A total of 440 major investment projects were started on the same day with a total investment of 527.45 billion yuan, mainly investment and cooperation projects signed in the past two years involving 321 projects of the province’s advantageous industries, strategic emerging industries, high-end growth industries, and emerging pioneer service industry with an investment of 422.84 billion yuan, accounting for 80.2% of the total amount. The commencement of these projects will further optimize the investment structure of our province and provide strong support for the steady economic growth and high quality development of the province.

　　Mr. Fan Ruiping, Member of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Secretary of Chengdu Municipal Committee of the CPC, attended the start-up activities. Me. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government presided over the start-up activity and introduced the current situation of these projects. Mr. Luo Qiang, Mayor of Chengdu City, reported on the start-up projects of Chengdu. Mr. Li Ge, Chairman of Shanghai WuXi AppTec, delivered a speech on behalf of the start-up companies.

　　Before the commencement, Mr. Yin Li listened to reports on the construction of major investment projects in the province and Chengdu, as well as the construction of Chengdu WuXi AppTec Life and Health Industrial Park.
