Sichuan Province Signing a Friendly Provincial-Regional Relationship Agreement with the Great East of France

  On May 16th, Sichuan Province and the Great East of France signed a friendly province-region relationship agreement in Sichuan to promote the cooperation between the two places toward a broader area. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and Mr. Rottner, President of the Great East signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties respectively.

  According to the agreement, the two parties will continue to carry out various forms of exchanges and cooperation in industry, agriculture, culture, tourism, scientific research, education and health to achieve mutual benefits and enhance the competitiveness, attractiveness and sustainable development capabilities of the two places.

  Before the signing, Mr. Yin Li met with Mr. Rottner and his delegation. The two sides agreed that strengthening and deepening friendly exchanges and cooperation are the common aspirations of both. They will strive to consolidate the friendly relations between the province and region, give full play to the role of platforms such as the Sino-French Agricultural Science and Technology Park, tap potential, enrich content, expand areas, and promote the effectiveness and benefit of more win-win cooperation projects for better livelihoods of the people in both places.

  Mr. Bohr, Vice President of the Great East of France, Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and Mr. Tang Limin, Secretary General of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government attended the meeting and signed the agreement.
