The reporter learned from the recent Annual Meeting of Forest-Based Health and Wellness held in Chongzhou City of Sichuan Province that there are more than 30,000 households in Sichuan who have participated in the forest-based health and wellness industry at present, and the total capital invested in this industry in the province has exceeded RMB 120 billion.

　　Sichuan constitutes an important part of the southwestern forest area of China. Currently, there are 28 pilot units of the National Forest-Based Health and Wellness Base in Sichuan Province, and more than 30,000 households have been engaged in this sector. Chengdu achieved a total income of RMB 20 billion in the recreation and tourism of forest-based health and wellness industry last year.
