On October 10th, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of People’s Government of Sichuan Province, presided over the 14th executive meeting to convey the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, as well as the condensed spirit of the recent meeting of the Party Central Committee and the State Council， and to study key works related to promoting the private economy, integrating production and education, developing all-round tourism and rehabilitating disabled children.

　　In the meeting, the Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education was passed. The Opinions clarified that by 2020 a number of well-known and influential associations of industry and education in the fields of electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection will be cultivated to promote the deep integration of industry and education. In response to the phenomenon of "separation" between industry and education, the Opinions proposed ways to construct a new pattern of education and industry featuring integrated development by synergizing vocational education to economic and social development, renewing the integration of vocational education and industry, optimizing the layout of vocational education and regional development, and matching major construction to industrial transformation.

　　In the meeting, a report on the establishment of a rehabilitation system for disabled children in Sichuan Province was delivered. It called on all relevant departments of Sichuan to carry out the requirements of the central authorities and provincial party committee and government, to establish and improve the rehabilitation system for disabled children, and to guarantee targeted basic rehabilitation services for disabled children, guiding the society to care for and make for the healthy growth of disabled children.

　　The meeting also studied other matters. Before the executive meeting, Professor Shen Hengtao of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China expounded the key technologies and development of artificial intelligence.
