On July 26th, The 3rd China (Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference organized by Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, The Investment Association of China, and China Council for Investment Investment Promotion is held in Chengdu. Mr. Deng Xiaogang, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Mr. Gan Lin, Member of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Director of Sichuan Provincial Propaganda Department, Mr. Yang Hongbo, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, Mr. Yang Qingwei, Director of The Investment Association of China, Mr. Wang Ping, Director of The Investment Association of China, and Mr. Gia Yucheng, Vice Director of Planning and Finance Department of China National Tourism Administration, attended the conference. Meanwhile, relevant responsible officials from provincial departments and municipalities, representatives from international and domestic enterprises also attended The conference.

The conference has also Held a site project signing ceremony. A total of 31 tourism projects of 86.89 billion yuan involving 20 municipalities and 28 counties (districts) have been signed. As the theme cities, Panzhihua and Guangyuan have signed 6 projects of 26.6 billion yuan. Three are 11 tourism development projects of 15.18 billion yuan for poverty stricken counties, accounting for 17.5% of the total investment volume. There are also 3 projects with the investment volume of over 10 billion yuan. These projects mainly include tourism, agriculture, culture, ecological health care, transport and so on in tourism resorts, rural comprehensive main bodies, tourism industrial parks, tourism towns, self-driving camps and so on.
On the conference, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics has released The White Paper of Sichuan Tourism Investment. JLL has issued Investment Expectation For Sichuan Tourism (2018-2020). China Beijing Equity Exchange has released 2017 Sichuan “10+30+100” Major Tourism Investment Attraction Projects. Xihua Net has released the selection results of Top 10 Tourism Destinations With Investment Potential in Western China, Top 10 Mountain Tourism Destinations in Western China, and Top 10 Tourism Health Resorts in Western China. Sichuan Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau has issued 2016 Leading Municipalities in Sichuan On Tourism Investment and 2016 Sichuan Tourism Investment Leading Companies.
According to the schedule, on the afternoon of July 26th, Kang Guoming, President of China CYTS Tours Holding Co., Ltd., Qian Jiannong, President of Fosun Tourism Cultural Group, Bai Xiaobing, Vice General Manager of China Tourism Group, Luke Riley, International Development Senior Vice President of Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, Romain Guillaumont, Global Operation Director of Maxi-race, Mathieu Clavier, Pacific-Asia President of FISE Sports Investment and Operation Company, Cao Heping, Vice Dean of Institute of Digital China, Peking University, and so on will deliver keynote speeches respectively.
Guangyuan and Panzhihua will be promoted on the conference and conduct high-end conversations with guests, scholars and experts concerning “healthy tourism” and “tourism finance”. After the conference, investors will also inspect tourism projects in Panzhihua, Guangyuan, Leshan and so on.
