In the first half year of 2017, 700 major projects in Sichuan have been accelerated to construct. By the end of June, the investment for 433 provincial key projects has amounted to 199.14 billion yuan with the investment completion of 58%, 8.1 percentages higher than that in 2016. Among 267 newly initiated provincial major projects, 150 projects have been started, accounting for 56.2%, 15.1 percentage points higher than that of 2016.

　　In terms of fields, these industrial continuous key provincial projects have attracted investment of 69.5 billion yuan with the completion rate of 57.2%. There are 82 newly initiated industrial key projects with the initiation of 64.6%. In infrastructure, the continuous key provincial projects have attracted investment of 96.89 billion yuan, accounting for 58.5% and there are 49 newly initiated projects, accounting for 51%. In people’s livelihood, social enterprises and ecological construction, environmental protection, the continuous key provincial projects have attracted investment of 32.75 billion yuan, accounting for 58% and there are 19 newly initiated projects, accounting for 43.2%.

　　In the first half year, translational medicine national major technical infrastructure (Sichuan) project and high altitude cosmic ray observatory station national major technical infrastructure project suggestion proposal have been approved by National Development and Reform Commission.

　　Key projects in most municipalities are undergoing smoothly. By the end of June, the investment completion rate and initiation rate of key projects in Zigong, Luzhou, Leshan, Yibin, Meishan, and Ganzi are higher than average. The investment completion rate of continuous key projects in Chengdu, Zigong, Luzhou, Leshan, Yibin, Meishan, Aba, Ganzi, and Liangshan are faster than average.
