On July 10th, the organizing committee of the 4th Sichuan International Travel Expo held press conference in Beijing. Mr. Zhang Tong, Mayor of Leshan Municipality, the holding place of Sichuan International Travel Expo, announced that the 4th Sichuan International Travel Expo would be held Emei of Leshan Municipality from September 17th to September 24th. Mrs. Yu Li, Head of Leshan Municipal Bureau of Propaganda, presided over the press conference.
Sichuan International Travel Expo focuses on exhibition, trading and forum, integrates tourism resources, products, information and customers, and establishes tourism exchange and cooperation platform, tourism product negotiation and trading platform, and mountain tourism special exhibition platform. Leshan has held 3 sessions Sichuan International Travel Expo since 2014 and identified as the permanent site for the expo.
It has been learned that the 4th Sichuan International Travel Expo will highlight on establishing a first-class tourism travel expo with world popularity and international influence. Leshan will learn from former experiences, improve the contents, forms, connotations, and extensions of the expo, hold 6 supporting activities including opening ceremony, Emei Summit Forum, Popularity Week for Guest Country of Honor and so on in order to guarantee the successful holding of the expo.
According to the responsible official of the organizing committee, the schedules for the expo are as follows. From September 15th to 16th, purchaser inspection activity will be held. On September 16th, guests from World Tourism Organization will inspect Leshan; exhibitors will be registered; 2nd press conference, welcome dinner, Mijiang River night tour and so on will be held. Professional audience will attend the expo during September 17th to 18th. Guests touring, opening ceremony, trading negotiation, youth student tourism profession exchange, exhibitions, product selling and so on will be held on September 17th. Activities including free negotiation, Emei International Buddhism Cultural Tourism Destination Construction, series of tourism salons, Leshan tourism project site inspection and promotion, exhibitions, production selling and so on will be held on the morning of September 18th. The main halls will be open to the public from the afternoon of September 18th to 24th.
