On the afternoon of June 25th, Mr. Wang Dongming, Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC,presided over a conference at the landslide site of Xinmo Village, Diexi Town, Maoxian County to research and deploy the rescue and relief work. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government also attended the conference.

　　The latest situation of rescue work has been reported at the meeting. The meeting requires to seize the golden time to make maximum efforts to research and rescue the missing, adhere to scientific rescue work to prevent secondary disasters, give full play of the role of grassroots party organizations and party cadres, and spare no efforts to deal with afterward disposal.

　　Mr. Wang Dongming emphasized that all the cadres in Sichuan should earnestly study and implement the instructions of President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli and so on, carry out the instructions of State Councilor Wang Yongguo, and conduct a second researching and disposal on the whole potential geological hazards in Sichuan on the basis of previous work. He also required to highlight on key areas and parts, especially concentrate on Wenchuan massive earthquake region, Lushan strong earthquake region, Northeast part of Sichuan Basin, Panxi Anning River, and other basins or mountainous regions vulnerable to floods and landslides, further implement the measures of dynamic monitoring, inspection, early warning, and project management and so on, timely organize the common people to transfer and relocate strictly in accordance with the principles of “early avoidance, active avoidance, and preventive avoidance” for those projects which could not be finished in short time in order to safeguard the life and property safety. Aba Autonomous Prefecture should take the lead to implementing the instructions.

　　Relevant provincial leaders including Mr. Wang Minghui, Mr. Liu Zuoming, Mr. Yang Hongbo, and other responsible officials from provincial departments, Aba Autonomous Prefecture Government, Maoxian County Government and so on also attended the meeting.
