On June 22nd, Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement for e-commercial poverty alleviation. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Sichuan Province, met with Mr. Yi Huiman, President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. They jointly attended the agreement signing ceremony.

　　According to the agreement, Sichuan and ICBC will take good advantages of e-commercial platform of ICBC, jointly explore e-commercial poverty alleviation modes, and promote the selling of special products and the development of special resources in poverty-stricken regions. Sichuan will actively construct the cooperation bridges between the industries in poverty-stricken regions and e-commercial platform. ICBC will provide financial supporting for the merchants of poverty-stricken regions in e-commercial platform.

　　Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan, and Mr. Tan Jiong, Vice President of ICBC, signed the agreement.

　　On the agreement signing ceremony, ICBC has donated 5.5 million yuan for 4 poverty alleviation counties including Tongjiang, Nanjiang, Wanyuan, and Jinyang. In recent years, the donation of ICBC for designated poverty alleviation counties has accumulated to 140 million yuan. ICBC has also loaned over 8 billion yuan to support poverty alleviation projects.
