It is learnt from the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense that, China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition will be held from September 29th to October 3rd, 2017, in Deyang, Sichuan for the first time, which stands as another platform for exchanges in techniques, economy and trade, and culture of aviation and space after Airshow China in Zhuhai.

　　According to the person in charge of the Expo, this year’s Expo, themed by Common and Integrated Development and featuring large scale, high level, internationalization, and specialism, covers an area of 80,000 square meters with an internal and external area of 30,000 and 50,000 square meters respectively. The world-level jet airplane performing team will make their debut in China with other aerobatics performance teams.

　　The Expo will welcome an array of large-scale aviation and space enterprises of China represented by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine, Co., Ltd., China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation and China Aerospace Science & Technology Corporation to present the latest achievements of China in aviation and space.

　　The Development Plan on General Aviation of the 13th Five-year Plan Period proposes that efforts should be put into promoting the construction of general airports for short-way transportation and emergency and assistance. It is made clear in the Development Plan on Civil Aviation Industry (2013-2020) that Chengdu-Mianyang Region is carrying out the pilot reforms in the Innovation Demonstration Zone of Civil-Military Integration with focus on developing mid- and large-size general airplanes Chengdu.

　　According to relevant officials in the Information Office of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the successful conclusion of aviation exposition in Sichuan will trigger the in-depth development of aviation and space, industries related to civil-military integration in Sichuan and its surroundings to further the win-win cooperation between enterprises and the region.
