The General Office of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government has recently issued a notice on expanding the market by advocating three activities in 2017, which lists the three activities for market expansion, namely, conducting promotional sales to benefit people, promoting Sichuan products nationally, and encouraging enterprises to go global, in accordance with the deployment in the economic work conference of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and the Fifth Session of the 12th National People’s Congress.

　　It has been also stated in the notice that relevant parties should ensure full implementation of the three activities as a major task to increase consumptions, promote supply-side structural reforms, and strengthen export-oriented economy, so as to constantly enhance the fame and market occupation of Sichuan products both at home and abroad.

　　Centering on consumptive hot spots, industrial advantages, location characteristics, culture and folk customs, and vocational economy, promotional sales will be conducted by establishing platforms for blowing up consumptions and connecting supplies with demands, and organizing diversified promotional activities.

　　With focus on major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, Sichuan products will be promoted to exhibitions, business circles, supermarkets, markets, online shops, and restaurants, forming an enlarged picture in which various industries, cities, and brands enjoy coordinated development.

　　Enterprises’ awareness of participating international competitions will be further enhanced through enriched activities and methods, so as to propel emerging companies to go global embracing expanded global market and amplified international productivity cooperation.
