In 2015, 205 talents and 20 innovation groups have been brought in Sichuan Province through the Thousand Talents Program, which enables the number of talents and innovation groups to total 800 and 72 respectively, ranking first in western China.

　　It has been said that, in order to provide targeted services to the talents and bring their roles into full play in promoting social and economic development, Sichuan Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department and the Organization Department of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee have recently organized a service policy training project with 130 people involved including some of the talents newly brought in through China and Sichuan Thousand Talents Program and representative parties in charge of importing talents.

　　Official in the business office of relevant provincial department has introduced the service policies and work processes with focus on the detailed explanations of common concerns shared by the talents such as children’s education, permanent residence, special health care and intellectual property rights, and answered the questions raised by the talents.

　　Statistics have shown that, in 2016, there have been in total 205 talents and 20 innovation groups brought in Sichuan through the Thousand Talents Program, making the total number of talents and innovation groups reach 800 and 72 respectively as the top of western China.
