On February 23rd, The Office of Sichuan Tianfu New Area Management Committee and Sichuan Provincial Financial Work Bureau have signed Strategic Cooperation Memorandum Concerning Accelerating Tianfu New Area Constructing Into Western Financial Center. Both sides will enhance cooperation and build Tianfu New Area into an important carrier as Western China Financial Center.

　　On the symposium, both sides have reached multiple consensuses on creating Tianfu New Region into financial innovation development demonstration region, enhancing the study of precise policies, promoting the experiences of financial reform of free trade zones, optimizing financial ecological environment and so on.They will deepen financial reform and innovation, vigorously promote financial convenience, enlarge financial opening and cooperation, establish a sound financial risk prevention and control system within the framework of free trade zone, promote systematically Tianfu New Area to develop modern finance, and build Tianfu New Area as an important carrier in Western China.

　　In terms of constructing financial platforms, both sides will promote the construction of  Tianfu New Area Financial Platform, accelerate relevant eligible high-end companies to be listed, and provide better services for small and medium-sized companies based on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Market of Chengdu (Sichuan-Tibet) Stock Exchange, establish exchange and cooperation mechanism, and study and coordinate to solve major financial problems of Tianfu New Area.

　　Sichuan Provincial Financial Work Bureau has been officially established on February 8th whose main responsibility is to integrate the construction of Western China Financial Center.
