On Nov. 3rd, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, met with Mr. Stepien, governor of Lodz Province of Poland and Mr. Araya, mayor of San Jose of Costa Rica and their groups in Chengdu.

　　When meeting with Mr. Stepien, Mr. Yin Li thanked him for his efforts to promote the mutual-beneficial cooperation between Sichuan and Lodz as well as China-Europe Railway Express collecting Lodz. He said that in recent years, fruitful results have been yielded in cooperation between Sichuan and Lodz which has bright prospects for future development. He hoped both parties could channeled efforts to the construction and operation of China-Europe Railway Express, strengthening exchanges and cooperation in trade, arts and culture to promote mutual friendship and win-win development. Mr. Stepien said China-Europe Railway has brought great opportunities for cooperation between the two places. He hoped that both sides could actively promote deeper cooperation in wider fields. “We warmly welcome Sichuan enterprises to invest in Lodz for mutual benefits.”

　　Meeting with Mr. Araya, Mr. Yin Li said long distance between Sichuan and San Jose will not stop the friendship and enthusiasm for cooperation of our people. He hoped that Mr. Araya could know more about Sichuan by this visit. Working together, we can advance our mutually beneficial cooperation in economy, trade, humanities and other fields. Mr. Araya said the rapid development of Sichuan Province in recent years is impressive, and San Jose will learn from the experience of Sichuan’s development and promote further cooperation with Sichuan in infrastructure construction, agricultural development and education.

　　Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and Mr. Tang Limin, Secretary General of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, attended the meeting.
