As a grand gathering of the domestic TV industry, the biennial Sichuan TV Festival has become an industrial benchmark. 2017 (14th) SCTV Festival is being held from Nov. 2nd to Nov. 4th in New International Convention and Exhibition Center of Chengdu Century City, with 7 main wonderful activities.

　　Since 1991, the SCTV Festival has been held every single year for thirteen times. Listed as one of the three largest foreign culture exchange activities, it has become an influential international film culture exchange activity with much attention from film and television agencies all over the world, as well as an important business platform for domestic and international film, television programs and equipment. Synchronous with the 54th ABU GA, it is witnessing about 600 international organizations, masters of mainstream radio and television stations in Asia-Pacific countries and celebrities of China's radio and television industry attending.  It has played an important role for the spread of Chinese traditional culture, exchanges and cooperation between China’s radio and television and foreign ones, and the building of the good image of a harmonious, prosperous and beautiful Sichuan.

　　There are 7 main events and activities: "Gold Panda" Documentary Producer Forum, International Film and New Media Program Trading, International Film and Television Equipment Exhibition, Media Integration and Development Forum, "Smart Broadcast" Forum, Ultra HD and Cloud Platform Development Forum, and the International Theme Day. Among them, the Media Integration and Development Forum, by focusing on industry trends, world hot issues, national policy interpretation, the supply-side reform, industrial transformation and upgrading, and technological innovations, has invited department executives and influential leaders of domestic and foreign high-end media institutions and media integration industry to deliver keynote speeches, discuss on the integration path, address the problem of and serve overall development. These are to accelerate the development of traditional media. “This is the highlight and feature of this TV festival. We will make full efforts on it.”

　　At the same time, the TV festival has also held a number of activities friendly to common people to increase their participation, such as meeting with the crew of plays and holding release conference of new TV dramas ; international television and new media equipment exhibition will set a new technology display in the exhibition hall about 5G transmission, intelligent cloud storage, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, the new technology of millimeter wave transmission and application of other technologies. “France Day” and “Israel Day" will be held. Excellent TV documentaries from Russia, South Africa, India and China will also be played during the BRICs Television Program Exchange.
