On October 27th, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, presided over the 159th executive meeting of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, where the renovation of rural adobes was studied and deployed, and some regulations of the provincial government were abolished.

　　In the meeting, Implementation Plan of “Rural Adobes Renovation” of Sichuan Province has been adopted, which defines that the transformation and renovation of 2.696 million rural adobes is to be basically completed according to different house types within 3 years in the whole province with the specific principle of "demolition, protection, rebuilding and construction”. It also requires that the renovation should be included into the planning of villages and towns construction and land use as a whole arrangement and integrated with the new countryside construction. Blueprints and plans of adobe house renovation are to be compiled for the masses to choose freely, which will be reasonably guided to the new countryside area. Infrastructure such as water, electricity, roads, and basic telecommunications networks will be arranged in resettlement sites of the adobe houses, and other public service facilities such as education, health, culture and sports will also be built. Besides, the plan also defines supporting policies for land, finance and banking.

　　In the meeting, Product Standards for Filing and Registration and Management Approach of Execution Standard of Sichuan Province, Safety Supervision and Management Methods of Construction Project of Sichuan Province, Interim Measures for City Residential Property Management of Sichuan Province, Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Management Measures of Sichuan Province and Radioactive Pollution Prevention Management Measures of Sichuan Province were abolished.
