On September 29th, Sichuan Provincial People’s Government holds National Day Reception in order to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Chengdu. Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, attends the reception and delivers a speech.

　　Mr. Kohout, President Consultant of the Czech Public, foreign officials from Consulates General in Chengdu, Chongqing and Guangzhou, officials from the working offices of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR in Chengdu, foreign institutes in Sichuan, foreign-owned enterprises in Sichuan, business institute representatives, foreign experts and students, fellow representatives from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, Taiwan and overseas, and overseas Chinese enterprises, a total of about 330 guests attend the reception.

　　Vice Governor Zhu Hexin, on behalf of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, extends heart-felt welcome towards domestic and foreign guests and sincere gratitude towards domestic and foreign friends who have cared and supported Sichuan’s economic and social development. He says, China has achieved brilliant achievements since the founding of the People's Republic of China. In recent years, Sichuan has experienced comparatively rapid development in society and economy. Sichuan has always valued opening and cooperation, got closer relationship with the world in terms of economy, and continuously deepened exchanges and cooperation. Sichuan has established economic and trade relationship with over 220 nations and regions. There have been 331 Fortune Global 500 companies located in Sichuan and 16 countries approving to establish consulates general in Sichuan. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport has opened 102 international (regional) flight routes. Sichuan has successfully held Western China Overseas Hi-Tech Talents Conference, China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo, Sichuan International Travel Expo, Sichaun•Hong Kong•Macao Cooperation Week, and other important opening activities, promoted the in-depth cooperation of Sichuan with the world in 2017, and gained positive and productive achievements. Today, Sichuan is getting closer to the world and integrating with the world in a more active attitude. He hopes that domestic and international friends to continue to care and support Sichuan’s economic and social development, and actively devote to promoting the friendly exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between Sichuan and the world.
