On the afternoon of January 3rd, Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and HUAWEI Technologies Co., Ltd signed strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu. Mr. Wang Dongming, Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, and Mr. Ren Zhengfei, President of HUAWEI Technologies, were present at the agreement signing ceremony.

　　Before the ceremony, Mr. Wang Dongming met Mr. Ren Zhengfei. They exchanged opinions Concerning the development foundation, conditions and future of Sichuan’s electronic industry.

　　On the agreement signing ceremony, Mr. Liu Jie, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and Mr. Peng Zhongyang, Vice President of HUAWEI, signed strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement specified that both sides should carefully implement the development ideas of innovation, coordinating, green, open, and sharing, and deepen cooperation in 10 aspects including the constructing information communication technology development and research centers, cloud computing and big data services, information security industries, smart city, software and information service industries, intelligent manufacturing, fostering new forms, constructing a new generation information infrastructure network, information communication technology opening cooperation platform construction, talent training and so on.
