Eight-eight is the everyday number of newly constructed projects of Sichuan in 2016.

　　The data released by the Press Briefing of The Information Office of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government indicate that there are 32,303 projects which have been initiated to construct in 2016. These projects have contributed 85% for the social investment growth and 10.3 percentage points of provincial investment.

　　The total investment in fixed assets of Sichuan in 2016 has amounted to 2912.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 12.1%. While this figure is driven powerfully by some major projects. 2016 is the Project Year of Sichuan, namely treating projects as the priority of economic work in order to expand effective investment demands. As the strategy of Project Year deepens, the number of newly started projects in 2016 has grown explosively with the growth rate of 37.5%. The completed investment has amounted to 1328.43 billion yuan, increasing 25.3%.

　　Passionate and vivid constructing scenes in the construction locations of these projects contribute to these data. In the end of 2016, Renmu Trial Section of 50 km, part of Renshou-Muchuan-Xinshi Expressway, has been completed. In December, the main body of BOE Project located at the Western Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Zone has been completed, which is the new factory plant for SOE 6th LTPS/AMOLED flexible screen production line, equivalent to 7 Water Cubes in size.

　　In terms of industrial investment, the investment on primary industry reached 111.51 billion yuan, up 32.7%, secondary industry 822.24 billion yuan, increasing 10.2%, and tertiary industry 1978.85 billion yuan, increasing 12%. The investment on transportation and shipping has amounted to 370.18 billion yuan, increasing 17.4%.

　　Major projects are undoubtedly the key of all parts to push. Data have indicate that the number of newly constructed projects have successfully achieved annual goal in 2016. The completed investments on strategic emerging industries and modern service industry have been 1.6 times and 1.4 times of annual plans respectively. 631 major projects have been planned to invest 458.3 billion yuan. 179 projects have been started to construct smoothly and 82 projects have been completed and in operation, including Chengdu Factory of Dongfeng Peugeot Citron Automobile Company, Junma Project of Intel and so on.
