In accordance with the orientation requirements of The Central Government on Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone, Sichuan has initiated to formulate Three-Year Action Plan for Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone and will release reform matters with Sichuan characteristics. It has been learned from 2017 Sichuan Business Working Conference on January 22nd that the construction of Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone will highlight on transforming government functions, integrating bilateral investment and cooperation, promoting trade facilitation, deepening reform in financial fields, implementing the coordinating opening strategy between inland and coastal regions, and activating innovation and entrepreneurship and so on in order to accelerate the smooth implementation of reform tasks.

　　Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce has revealed that they will promote the releasing of regulations concerning Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone, construct an efficient operation mechanism integrated special policies, reform measures, the third party evaluation, and capacity improvement, and strive to construct it as a development and opening leading zone for the gate cities in Western ChinaNet, the supporting and pioneering zone for inland opening strategies, the international opening channel and hub zone, the new highland for inland opening economy, and the demonstration zone for the coordinating opening strategy between inland and coastal regions.

　　Meanwhile, Sichuan will explore to promote free trade in Sichuan, summarize experiences which could be duplicated and promoted in all the cities of Sichuan as soon as possible concerning the reform matters which are not authorized by The Central Government in The Overall Scheme of Free Trade Zones.

　　Currently, 27 items reforms in 5 categories including investment management, trade facilitation, systematic innovation in the special supervision customs zones, systematic innovation for inspection and quarantine, and finance, have been promoted in Sichuan.
