The investments on industries and technical transformation in Sichuan have reached to 800 billion yuan and 600 billion yuan respectively, all achieving a double-digit growth and indicating a sound momentum of better than expectation, last term and national average. This is what reporters have learned from Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission.

　　Last year, the investment on industries in Sichuan has reached 816.2 billion yuan, increasing 10.9%. The investment on technical transformation in Sichuan has reached 601.2 billion yuan, increasing 13.1%. The investments on industries and technical transformation have been completed one month earlier than expectation, changing the low growth situation of investment in these two aspects in previous two years.

　　The supporting and driving role of major projects on industrial and economic growth has been obvious. In 2016, 56 major industrial projects have completed investment of 42.4 billion yuan, accounting for 146.7% of the annual investment plan. The investment on 144 provincial government projects in major industries and technical transformation has amounted to 57.4 billion yuan, accounting for 135.7% of the annual investment plan. The investment on 500 projects over 100 million yuan has amounted to 98.1 billion yuan, accounting for 120.2% of the annual investment plan. There are 2,017 projects which have been completed in 2015 and 2016 and started to produce in 2016 whose net output value has been over 120 billion yuan driving 40% of industrial growth.

　　The investment on manufacturing is 590.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 13.7%, 2.8 percentage points higher than industrial investment. The investment on industries with excess capacity has declined 1%.
