On January 8th, reporters learned from State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province that the agreement of establishing International Aviation Leasing Company had been recently signed in Hong Kong between Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank.

　　According to the agreement, Sichuan Development International Holding Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd., will establish an international aviation leasing company with Standard Chartered Bank in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Standard Chartered Bank will provide 5 qualified airplanes with leasing contracts as seed assets for the joint venture company, assist the company to obtain global business resources through supplying the sharing mechanism for global orders, and strive to expand business in international aviation industry. “Ireland is the kernel hub for global aviation leasing industry, which has attracted almost all the aviation leasing enterprises to settle here.” An expert in this industry indicated that currently all of the top 10 aviation financial enterprises had established institutes in Ireland. The assets of aviation leasing for aviation leasing enterprises in Ireland account for over 40% globally. While the aviation financing enterprise owned by Standard Chartered Bank in Ireland is the largest one in the world with over 100 airplanes to over 2 dozens of major airlines.

　　Relevant responsible official from State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province thinks that both sides could further deepen cooperation in fields such as international financing, merger and acquisitions and global high-end industries and so on based on this international aviation leasing project.
