Reporters learned from Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission that in the first half year of 2016, the acceleration of profits and main business revenues for industrial enterprises above designed size had been rising while the ratio for coverage and and amount for loss-incurring enterprises had been decreased. In June, the industrial profit growth rate has been 12.2%, the peak in the first 6 months.

　　In terms of industrial profits, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designed size in Sichuan has amounted to 105.55 billion yuan in the first half year, increasing 3.88 billion yuan and a year-on-year growth of 3.8%, rising 2 percentage points compared with that of first 5 months and 1.9 percentage points compared with that in the first quarter.

　　The increasing rate for main business revenues is also impressive. In the first half year, the main business revenues of industrial enterprises above designed size in Sichuan reaches 1961.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth rate of 6% and 2.9 percentage points higher than national average.

　　Why could industrial economic profits could be improved? The decreasing of loss coverage and mount are important reasons. In the first 6 months, among 13,322 industrial enterprises above designed size, there are 1,644 occurring loss, accounting for 12.3%, decreasing 0.4 percentage point. The loss amount is 15.5 billion yuan, decreasing 1.15 billion yuan and 5 percentage points.

　　Moreover, the producer price index in Sichuan in 2016 has been kept low. While the decreasing rate for PPI is decreasing, the lower PPI has also LED to the improvement of industrial profits. In the first half year, PPI in Sichuan has decreased 2.6% compared with that of last year. While the PPI decreasing rate in June is 1.5%.
