On July 20th, Sichuan Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce and Sichuan E-Business Association announced that 2016 First Sichuan International E-Commerce Expo would be held at Chengdu International Trade City During September 29th to October 3rd. Over 300 well-known domestic and international enterprises will display the most advanced ideas, modes, technologies in e-commercial industry. Exhibitors from 21 cities and prefectures of Sichuan will attend the expo.

　　The expo with the theme of “Gathering in Chengdu and Linking the World” will divide into 8 expo zones including well-known e-business zone, local feature e-business zone, cross-border e-business zone, achievements zone for innovation and entrepreneurship, industrial e-business zone and precise poverty alleviation zone. The expo will display the development achievements of China and the world in concentration, especially of Sichuan, construct online and offline integrated and docking platforms for e-business to achieve the docking between e-commercial enterprises and advantageous or feature products, and win O2O online and offline interaction.

　　During the expo, 2016 First Sichuan International E-Commerce Expo and 2nd Western China E-Business Development Forum, 7th China College Student E-Business Entrepreneurship Sichuan Section Initiative Ceremony, Sichuan E-Business Popular Figure Competition and other special activities will be held as well. Achievements for innovation and entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, smart manufacturing, Internet of Things and so on will be displayed to show the possible influences of development trends of technologies on the future industrial development and human life. Visitors could also experience on site 3D printers, unmanned aerial vehicles, wearable intelligence, micro interactive projectors and other advanced high technical products.
