On July 14th, Consulate General of the Republic of France in Chengdu held National Day Reception. Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, attended the reception and delivered a speech.
　　
　　The friendship between China and France has ages. France is the first western country which has officially established diplomatic relationship with China and comprehensive strategic partnership with China as well as strategic dialogue mechanism with China. In recent years, the exchanges and cooperation between France and Sichuan have been increasingly frequent and close and yield plentiful achievements. By May, 2015, 103 Fortune Global enterprises in France, including Carrefour, Lafarge and so on, have invested in Sichuan. Derui and other Sichuan enterprises also seek for investment and development in France. Moreover, there are colorful cultural exchanges and a series of fruitful cooperation in culture and education fields between Sichuan and France.

　　2016 has witnessed the 10th year of the official establishment of Consulate General of the Republic of France in Chengdu. Mr. Zhu Hexin valued and extended sincere gratitude towards Consulate General of the Republic of France in Chengdu and every consul general for their devotion on promoting the exchanges and cooperation between France and Sichuan. Currently Sichuan stayed in the key period of constructing a moderate well-being society. Mr. Zhu Hexin sincerely invited more French friends to travel, invest and study in Sichuan. He hoped that the friendship between France and Sichuan could be enhanced continuously and Sichuan and France could have a promising cooperation future.
