Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance and Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Poverty Alleviation and Immigration have recently released the overall scheme for establishing poverty-stricken village industrial supporting funds and required to cover all poverty-stricken villages within 2017.
The scheme has proposed to base on villages, integrate existing industrial circulating supporting funds and establish industrial supporting funds cover all 11,501 poverty-stricken villages in Sichuan. The fund will be managed by village collective economic organizations with the scale of about 300,000 yuan. The fund will be mainly used for supporting poor families or village collective economic organizations to develop planting, breeding, rural e-commercial shops, rural tourism and so on, and strive to foster a batch of advantageous industries with local features which could drive poor rural families to increase incomes and collective economy expansion.
Relevant responsible officials from Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance indicated that the establishment of this fund would satisfy the fund demands for poor families and village collective economic organizations, foster a batch of advantageous industries with local features which could drive poor rural families to increase incomes.
By now, there have been 8,372 poverty-stricken villages finishing the establishment of this funds with the total fund scale of 2.43 billion yuan.
