Recently, Ministry of Finance and other 19 ministries and commission jointly released a notice and announced 516 projects of the third batch of PPP demonstration projects with the total investment of 1170.8 billion yuan. 25 projects in Sichuan, including Mianzhu urban and rural water supply and drainage integration PPP project, Ya'an waste incineration power generation project and so on have been enlisted with the total investment of 31.45 billion yuan. The notice required that all these projects should be completed purchasing principally before September, 2017.

　　Sichuan ranks No. 7 in the total number of projects in China. Sichuan has also witnessed the rapid development in project number compared with 4 projects in the second batch. These 25 projects are distributed in 13 cites, 6 in Yibin, 3 in Deyang, 3 in Bazhong, and other in Luzhou, Guangyuan, Neijiang, Mianyang, Ziyang, Liangshan, Nanchong, Meishan and so on. These projects cover in fields including municipal engineering, urban comprehensive development, energy, water conservancy construction, affordable housing projects, health care, education, ecological construction and environmental protection and so on . There are 13 municipal engineering projects, 4 urban comprehensive development projects, 3 energy projects, and other 5 categories.

　　Relevant responsible officials from Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance indicated that in the future they would coordinate with relevant departments to supervise project cities to implement project specification, build tracking management mechanism to ensure project quality, and promote the cooperation and docking of these projects with relevant cooperation investment funds and provincial PPP investment guidance funds.
