| Initiative of Promoting Tourism Standardization Construction Released |

Tourism is living elsewhere and seeking for differences from daily life. But differences and standards do not contradict with each other. On August 27th, as one of the activities of 2015 Sichuan International Cultural Tourism Festival, International Seminar on Tourism Standardization was held in Yibin. On the seminar, Chinese Society of Inspection and Quarantine, Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Tourism, Sichuan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Yibin Municipal People's Government released jointly Initiative of Promoting Tourism Standardization Construction, advocated the supporting of standardization, constructed tourism standard system, extended standardization fields, enhanced the whole level of tourism, and assisted the growth of tourism brands.
60 domestic and overseas experts and scholars engaged in standardization discussed on leisure tourism and tourism standardization construction, foreign tourism negotiation standardization, tourism standardization construction in new normal and so on. Moreover, the seminar also discussed on how to develop Yibin tourism in order to enhance Yibin tourism standardization comprehensively and promote the upgrading of Yibin tourism. “Standards are not stuck on paper. Standardization is also a long-term process needing the participation of multiple parties.” A member from Chinese Society of Inspection and Quarantine talked that there were numerous and subtle tourism standards, including tourism infrastructure, service quality, tourism products, tourism resources and so on. From the formulating to implementation, standardization needed to turn from sole government handling to the joint participation of government and market.
