On July 29th, 2015 The 6th C21 Forum was held in Chengdu. On the forum, Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce released “One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”.
　　
　　"One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, which was drafted by Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, specifies that by 2017, the trade scale between Sichuan and countries along “One Belt and One Road” would be enhanced to 30 billion US dollars, the volume of contracted projects would be accumulated over 20 billion US dollars, and the annual growth rate for bilateral investment would be amounted to 10%. In the following 3 years, Sichuan will select 20 countries which are equipped with comparatively large industrial advantages and trade advantages. Sichuan would cooperate with these 20 countries with the combination of “going globally” and “introduction” through 10 comparative industries and 4 surplus capacity industries of Sichuan, and strive to achieve the settlement of 50 major investment projects. Sichuan will also select 100 trade and economic enterprises to cooperate with.

　　With the theme of “One Belt and One Road•Sichuan’s Opportunities, Ms. Tina Redshaw, Consul General of the British Consulate General in Chongqing, Mr. Amir Lati, Consul General of Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu, Mr. Ahn Sung-kook, Consul General of Consulate General of South Korea in Chengdu, Ms. Bertrille Snoeijer, chief representative of the Dutch Trade Promotion in Chengdu, Mr. Yuan Xiaolin, President of Asia-Pacific Region of Volvo, Professor Yang Zhenzhi, an expert of tourism planning, and responsible officials from relevant departments, had heated discussions. Meishan and so on exchanged their thoughts and ideas concerning docking with “One Belt and One Road” strategy.
　
On the site of activity, 5 awards, including the Worthiest Investment City of One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, the Best Innovation and Entrepreneurship City of One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, the Worthiest Investment Industry Park of One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, the Most Valuable Brand of One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, and the Most Valuable Financial Brand of One Belt and One Road•C21 Sichuan Investment Direction”, were given.

　　Records of 100 Sichuan Entrepreneurs and Selection of 2015 Leading Figures in Western China are also initiated. Over 200 people, including responsible officials from some cities and counties, well-known economists, responsible persons of industry parks, senior managers from Fortune 500 Companies, and local entrepreneurs, attended the activity. Representatives from two Internet giants, Alibaba and Baidu also attended the forum.
