| International Tea Fair Will Be Held in Chengdu |

The 4th China (Sichuan) International Tea Fair jointly held by Sichuan Provincial Agricultural Department, Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and so on will be held in Chengdu from May 8th to May 11th. Under the background when Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Sichuan Provincial People’s Government have proposed “creating a tea industry of trillion yuan”, this fair will construct platforms for tea consumption, trade and exchange with the theme of “upgrading consumption environment and promoting public drinking tea”.
The exhibition area of this tea fair will amount to 40,000 square meters, including 4 theme halls, such as international famous tea hall, Chinese famous tea hall, Sichuan famous tea hall and tea set and tea ceremony cultural hall. By now, 500 tea leave, tea set and tea artwork companies from over 20 provinces in China such as Yunnan, Fujian, Anhui, Hunan, Guangdong and so on, and Sri Lanka, South Korea and so on will attend the fair.
The fair will refresh numerous “firsts”, including for the first time Sichuan’s enterprises increasing greatly, the largest tea producer in the world attending the fair and delivering theme speech, for the first time huge group organizing outside Sichuan and for the first time all the enterprises from all the main tea producing areas in China attending the fair. |
