On May 21st, 2015 World Knowledge Forum (WKF) & Chinese and South Korean Entrepreneurs Summit Forum will be opened in Chengdu. Political leaders, business tycoons and economic and cultural experts, approximately 500 people, will have a brainstorm here.
Known as “Asian World Economic Forum”, World Knowledge Forum gathers elites from all fields, including famous political leaders, economists, business leaders, leaders of international organizations, and Nobel Prize winners, the discuss and search solutions for global challenges and opportunities. This is the first time World Knowledge Forum is held in China.

Entertainment, Mr. JK Shin, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics, Mr. Chung Mong-koo, chairman and CEO of Hyyndai Motor Group, Mr. Kim Soo-Cheon, president and CEO of Asiana Airlines, Mr. Liu Yonghao, president of New Hope Group, Mr. You Xiaogang, chairman of China Television Drama Production Industry Association, Mr. Wang Changtian, president of Enlight Media, Mr. Ng Yue, executive president of Emperor Entertainment Group Limited, Mr. Wang Bin, deputy general manager of Power Construction Corporation of China, Mr. Lin Bin, co-founder and president of MI Technology, Mr. Zhou Jinying, vice president of Yili Group, and so on, covering fields such as automobile, real estate, manufacturing, finance, entertainment, department store, aviation, electronics and so on. According to statistics, the GDP of companies attending the group exceeded 70% of South Korean GDP.
Why does such a magnificent event choose Chengdu? Mr. Chang Dae-whan, president of Maeil Business Newspaper and founder of World Knowledge Forum, thought that the theme of the forum, “One Asia, One Dream”, was coincidentally the same as China’s “One Belt and One Road” strategy. As the key and leading city of Western Development, Chengdu is equipped with sound developing foundation and promising future as well as of great significance in the new round Western Development.
