India Will Open A Consulate General in Chengdu

  Another new consulate general. According to the joint announcement of People's Republic of China and India issued on the official website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 15th, to further facilitate and promote cultures, tourism, economic and personnel exchanges, China and India decided to open a new consulate general respectively. China will establish a consulate general in Madras and India will open a consulate general in Chengdu.

  It is learned that the establishment of Consulate General of Poland in Chengdu has been negotiated and agreed recently by Poland and China. Taking Consulate General of India in Chengdu into account, the number of consulate general established in Chengdu will amount to 14.
