From April 23 to 26, the 2015annual meeting of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) will be held in Leshan. By then, including Si Bonu, the chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association, officials from Tourist Administrations of Malaysia, Palau, Solomon Islands and other countries, representatives from Boeing Co. as well as other domestic and foreign guests, more than 300 people will attend the meeting.
　
      In previous years, those annual meetings were closed-door meetings, while its form will be changed this year. Lots of Leshan elements will be widely blended in, including holding PATA-Leshan Mountain Tourism demonstration base inauguration and academic symposium on certain topics. Leshan will conduct performances of intangible cultural heritage, organize international tourism experts, tourism products distributor to experience Emei, Leshan Giant Buddha, Qianwei Jia Yang train and other fine tourist routes, therefore to offer advices to Leshan tourism industry.　

      Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association is a non-profit international organization. It is one of the three major international tourism organizations which enjoy the most influential status around the world. During the first Sichuan Travel Fair held last year, the Pacific Asia Travel Association came to an agreement with Leshan, according to which Leshan will host its 2015 annual meeting.
