| Power Generation Capability of Dongfang Electric Machinery Exceeds 400 Million Kilowatts |

| On February 27th, a truck loaded with No. 1generator of Datang Fuzhou drove out of the generator workshop of Dongfang Electric Machinery. By now, the cumulative power generation capacity of Dongfang Electric Machinery Co. Ltd of Dongfang Electric Group has exceeded 400 million kilowatts. “400 million kilowatts means approximately 1/3 of all power generation equipment in China.” According to the general manager of Dongfang Electric Group, by the end of 2014, the total power generation capability in China amounted to 1.36 billion kilowatts, making China the top one in power generation capacity over America. Meanwhile, Dongfang Electric Group is the only power generation equipment supplier in the world with cumulative power generation capacity over 400 million kilowatts. Based on the latest data released in 2014, 400 million kilowatts is able to meet the power requirement of 3 Africa and 1.6 India. |
