On February 14th, reporters learned from Information Office of Chengdu Municipal Government that after the State Council approved Chengdu Railway Port as automobile import port, fruit import port and bonded logistics center (B Type) would be approved as well. Relying on these ports and Chengdu-Europe Express Rail, Chengdu is accelerating to build as the Fourth regional logistics center and cargo transferring center to Europe and central Asia.
Previously Chengdu has initiated declaration to be a fruit import port and actively promoted the construction and declaration work as bonded logistics center (B Type). Currently the main project of the warehouse of bonded logistics center (B Type), covering an area of 65,000 square meters, has been completed. Other relevant buildings such as offices for customs are under construction. At present, based on port advantages, Chengdu-Europe Express Rail, and Chengdu-Central Asia Express Rail, Chengdu is initiating the construction of transferring centers of Chengdu (Qingbaijiang) and Lodz of Poland, and building Chengdu (Qingbaijiang) Asia Europe International Logistics Trade Center into the Fourth regional logistics center and cargo transferring center to Europe and central Asia after Jinjingji Area, the Yangtze River Delta Area, and Pearl River Delta Delta.
