On September 17th, Mr. Wei Hong, vice secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, in Chengdu met Mr. Kohout, President Consultant of Czech Public.

　　Mr. Wei Hong said that Czech Public had been one of Sichuan's largest trade partners in Middle and East Europe. The industries in Sichuan and Czech Public was highly complementary with huge potential for cooperation. He hoped that both parties could spare no efforts to boost significant cooperative matters, such as the direct passenger and cargo flight from Chengdu to Prague, accelerate to establish long-term cooperative mechanism, and develop cooperative potential in numerous fields, for instance, general aviation, proton medical, tourism and so on. He warmly welcome and invite political and business representatives of Czech Public to attend the upcoming 15th Western China International Fair held in Chengdu.

　　Mr. Kohout conveyed the greetings from governor of Middle Czech State to Wei Hong. He said that Sichuan occupied a crucial strategic position in China's economic territory. They were quite optimistic about Sichuan's huge market space and industrial foundation in aviation and aerospace industries and so on. They were willing to strive to accelerate the implementation of projects which had beenreached preliminary consensus. Czech entrepreneurs had been looking forward to attending 15th Western China International Fair in Sichuan.

　　Two vice governors of Sichuan, Mr. Chen Wenhua and Mr. Gan Lin, were also present at the meeting.
