In recent years, Sichuan and European countries have witnessed the increase in mutual trade and economy cooperation. It was learned from Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce that by the end of 2013, there have been 521 companies set by European countries in Sichuan. The actual amount of foreign capital has amounted to 3.14 billion dollars.

After merely 20 days, these 4 major construction projects, China-France Technology Industrial Park, China-France International Automobile Exhibition City, China-France Yatai Eco-Friendly Building and China-France Innovation Technology Industrial Park, are all being constructed in full swing. China-France Chengdu Ecological Park will display ecology wholly because besides Eco-friendly projects, scientific management methods will also be introduced and implemented in order to achieve associative Eco-friend in primary industry, secondary industry, and tertiary industry.

At present, the main investor from France for China-France Chengdu Ecological Park has been assured as French City International Cooperation Union including numerous industrial giants, such as EDF, GDF Suez, Alcatel-Lucent, and Alstom.

This park focuses on introducing and using German technology, expertises, management experiences, developing precision machinery industry and biological industry.
