After the opening of Leshan-Emei Expressway in late 2012, an important part of Leshan-Ya’an Expressway, the main line of Leshan-Ya’an Expressway would be opened on trial from 12:00 a.m. on September 12. During the trial, there will be no tolls. All these were learned from Transport Committee of Leshan and Ya’an-Meishan-Leshan Expressway Company on September 11.

　　Leshan-Ya’an Expressway starts from Dajian Road of Leshan, passes through Shizhong District of Leshan, Emei Mountain City, Jiajiang County, Hongya County of Meishan City, and ends at Mingshan District of Ya’an, with a total length of 113.4 km, Leshan-Ya’an section 104 km, Leshan-Emei section 9.21 km. Currently, the section of Jiajiang, Caoba and Mingshan has not been finished yet. Leshan-Ya’an Expressway has connected with Chengdu-Ya’an Expressway and Leshan-Yibin Expressway.

　　The opening of Leshan-Ya’an Expressway marks the full closure of Chengdu-Chongqing Round Expressway of 1200 km, via Chengdu, Mianyang, Suining, Chongqing, Luzhou, Yibin, Leshan, Ya’an, with the journey of any 2 adjacent cities less than 2 hours.
