Biography

　　Wang Yihong, male, Han nationality, was born at Mianzhu, Sichuan Province in June, 1961. Mr. Wang started his career in December, 1978 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December, 1983. Mr. Peng graduated from Major of Regional Economy, Southwest Jiaotong University with a master’s degree of economy.

　　He now serves as Vice Governor of People’s Government of Sichuan Province, and member of the Leading Party Group of Sichuan Province.

　　Mr. Wang is a delegate to the 12th and 13th National People’s Congress, delegate to the 10th and 11th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, and delegate to the 12th and 13th Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress.

　　Responsibilities

　　Vice governor of Sichuan Province, is responsible for governing affairs associated to civil affairs, human resources and social security, sanitary and health (including Chinese medicine administration), discharged military forces as well as healthcare security.

　　With these responsibilities, he directs Sichuan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Sichuan Provincial Commission for Sanitary and Health (including Sichuan Provincial Administration for Chinese Medicine), Sichuan Provincial Department for Discharged Military Forces, and Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Healthcare Security.

　　He is in liaison with Sichuan Provincial Bureau for Civil Servants, Sichuan Provincial Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Sichuan Provincial Red Cross.
