Biography

　　Chen Wenhua, male, Han nationality, was born in Zigong, Sichuan Province in December, 1955. He joined China Democratic National Construction Association (CDNCA) in April, 1987 and started his career in October, 1974. Mr. Chen is a researcher, graduating with master’s degree in economics from Accounting Theory Major, Accounting Department of Southwest University of Finance and Economics.

　　Now Mr. Chen serves as vice governor of Sichuan Province, member of the Standing Committee of the CDNCA Central Committee, chairperson of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of CDNCA.

　　Mr. Chen is a deputy to the 11th and 12th National Congress of Communist Party of China and the 10th and 11th Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, a member of the 10th CPPCC National Committee, the 7th CPPCC Provincial Committee, as well as a member of Standing Committee of the 7th CPPCC Provincial Committee.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for the work of environmental protection, hygiene (TCM management), population and family planning, food and drug administration, and sports, etc. In charge of the departments of Sichuan Provincial Department of Environmental Protection, Health and Family Planning Commission of Sichuan Province (Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Sichuan), Sichuan Food and Drug Administration, Sichuan Provincial Sports Administration. Serving as the liaison with  Red Cross Society of China Sichuan Branch.
