Biography

　　Gan Lin, male, Han nationality, born in Tianmen, Hubei Province in July, 1963. Mr. Gan joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Aug., 1984 and started his career in Sept., 1981. He got his master's degree in Chinese Philosophy History of the Graduate School of Beijing Normal University.

　　Mr. Gan at present serves as vice governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and member of leading Party group. His career and public services are as follows:

　　Mr. Gan is a member of the 10th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, and a deputy to the 12th  Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for the work of development and reform (including prices, energy, railway, aviation), commerce, business solicitation, economic coordination, Taiwanese overseas Chinese affairs, quality technical supervision, industrial and commercial administration, finance, private economy, service industry and so on. In charge of Sichuan Development and Reform Commission (Sichuan Bureau of Grain, Sichuan Provincial Energy Administration), Sichuan Commerce Department, Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs, Sichuan Provincial Government Taiwan Affairs Office, Sichuan Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Sichuan Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision, Sichuan Provincial Administration of Investment Promotion, Sichuan Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Sichuan Rural Credit Cooperatives, China Chamber International Commerce Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, Sichuan Provincial Government Financial Service Office, Sichuan Provincial Government Port Office, and so on. Serving as the liaison with Chengdu Customs, CAAC Southwest Regional Administration, Sichuan Provincial Reserve Bureau, Sichuan Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, Sichuan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, The People’s Bank of China (Chengdu), Sichuan Bureau of Exchange Control, Sichuan Banking Regulatory Commission, Sichuan Securities Regulatory Commission, Sichuan Insurance Regulatory Commission, Chengdu Railway Bureau, Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce and so on.
